Having met David La Chapelle by chance was a truly special experience. Having him tell us he loves our work was something else. The stars aligned for us. He said he'd love us to paint a mural at his studio. At this stage, we had never painted a mural before. Our experience was solely with smaller street pieces. Thankfully we weren't on our own. Our friend and fellow LA artist Trusty Scribe was there to collaborate with us.
The first wall was Daft Punk - 'Don't be DAFT, of course I'll love you Forever'
The second wall was of Robin Williams. A piece for World Mental Health Day - 'Just because I'm smiling doesn't mean I'm happy.'
We even made it on ABC news that day, thanks to Sophie Flay being at the right place, at the right time.
