The BASS artwork is part of THE POSTMAN’s Portals Series, a body of work exploring everyday frames as gateways to other worlds, revealing moments of unexpected beauty beyond the ordinary.

Bass move beyond the frame, their motion calm and unhurried. The image suggests a gateway into another world, where the familiar slips gently away.

Originally created for the Nature of Healthcare public art project by THE POSTMAN in collaboration with My Charity for the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, the piece forms part of a wider body of work exploring the relationship between nature, wellbeing and healing.

Each purchase raises funds for My Charity and directly contributes towards the new Cancer Centre at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
