Shangri La – Glastonbury 2019

Skills: COLLABORATIONS, STREET ART

It was such an honour to be invited to do a mural for the SHANGRI-LA area at Glastonbury 2019. Their brief was to do a piece on young female activists which was something we hadn’t done before. It was all very last minute and our friends and collaborators BROKEN HARTIST came on board to provide the words.

The buzz of dancing to the backdrop of our mural at the festival made us incredibly proud.

The Activists we chose were:

1) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – often referred to by her initials, AOC. She is an American politician and activist who serves as the U.S. Representative and a member of the Democratic Party. Aged 29, she became the youngest woman ever to serve in the United States Congress. A glimpse of hope for a brighter future in US politics.
